Job Description:

The Shift Leader Seguridad is responsible for ensuring security and loss prevention within Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort in Los Cabos. Key tasks include patrolling the property, monitoring security systems, assisting guests during emergencies, maintaining safekeeping of master keys and other items, resolving disturbances, reporting safety hazards, and supervising team members to complete tasks effectively. Job Responsibility:

Conduct key control audit, monitor electronic key boxes, issue/receive master keys, radios, and beepers
Patrol all areas of the property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems
Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Notify appropriate individuals of incidents
Defuse disturbances
Escort unwelcome persons
Complete incident reports and Loss Prevention shift summaries
Report safety hazards
Type, proofread, and copy security reports
Motivate and train employees
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Enter and locate work-related information using computers.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Clear and professional communication
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces, sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Knowledge of computers and security equipment
Comply with company policies and procedures.
