Job Description

Shift Lead Engineer at a high-profile corporate headquarters in Central London. Role combines hands-on engineering, technical governance, and team leadership on a premier commercial estate.

Job Responsibility

Operate and maintain all mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) systems on-site
Lead annual building power downs and functional switching activities
Take ownership of critical alarm monitoring and incident response
Actively review and prepare Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)
Lead and coordinate the shift engineering team
Drive a safety-first culture
Oversee specialist vendors
Ensure all planned and reactive work tickets are accurately updated
Monitor site spares and audit stock levels

Requirements

Level 3 electrical (or equivalent)
C&G 2391 (or equivalent) for electrical inspection and testing is highly desirable
Current ACoP L8 / Legionella Awareness
IOSH Working Safely
IPAF certifications are highly preferred
Polish and professionalism with strong written/verbal communication and basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
