Shift Engineer

• Being responsible for carrying out any repair or maintenance issues throughout the club as and when they arise
• Reporting on any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed promptly to the Chief Engineer
• Assisting with maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the club including physical. mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc
• Repairing and maintaining kitchen equipment
• Maintenance of the plantroom and MEP systems
• Book, oversee and work with external contractors in line with budgets to ensure that work is completed quickly, efficiently, and to the club's standards
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities in accordance with the company and departmental standards in all areas of the club
• To ensure that company and statutory standards and legislations are adhered to, to ensure our club, members and their guests and colleagues are kept safe and all areas are maintained
• Make sure you are wearing proper uniforms, PPE and uphold the clubs grooming and hygiene standards at all times
• Work closely with the Security department to help oversee Health and Safety
• Ensure you have consistent and accurate use of all maintenance-related systems
• To ensure all ongoing repairs are recorded and the relevant departments made aware of when these issues are expected to be resolved
• To demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to work

• Proven experience working in Engineering departments in a luxury/lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation
• Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operational hours of the club
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management, and coming front of house to talk to members
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting
