Job Responsibility

  • General maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas
  • General maintenance and repairs in back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows based computer system

Requirements

  • Previous General hotel Maintenance experience preferred
  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.) required
  • Good communications skills are required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, Must be able to work overnight shifts
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight
  • ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong organizational and delegation skills
  • Valid driver license and clean driving record required
  • Perform any other duties assigned

  • Ability to read blue prints and schematics is preferred
