Job Description

Stirling Park LLP has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Sheriff Officer/Messenger-at-Arms with at least a commission for the Sheriffdom of Tayside, Central and Fife to join our field based team. You should be an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of delivering results for both Solicitor clients and Local Authorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Assuming full responsibility for both the planning and execution of your daily workload
  • Prioritising urgent and time sensitive cases
  • Ensuring all internal processes, procedures and requirements are adhered to at all times
  • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, any problem cases and provide timely updates to Diligence Operations Manager
  • Maintain legislative knowledge and adhere to annual CPD requirements
  • Support and encourage any Trainee Sheriff Officers under your remit

Requirements

  • Commission for the Sheriffdom of Tayside, Central and Fife
  • Experience of delivering results for both Solicitor clients and Local Authorities
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Resilience and ability to handle challenging conversations
  • Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to motivate, lead and encourage staff and make decisions
