Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a Quality-focused manufacturing role
Expert-level knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience navigating Canadian regulatory frameworks (OH&S and Environmental)
Proven ability to influence and lead within a unionized, matrixed organization
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement
Ability to travel approximately 10–15% within Ontario and occasionally to the United States

Job Responsibility

Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System in strict accordance with ISO 9001 standards
Direct occupational health and safety programs to ensure full compliance with Canadian provincial and federal regulations
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and professional development to a team of 9 Plant Quality members
Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Lean, Kaizen) to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Act as the primary management representative for internal and external audits while managing all environmental reporting and emissions documentation
