Job Description:

At Euro Pool System (EPS) we’re proud of our reusable folding crates that keep the supply chain moving in a sustainable way. But behind the crates, there’s a young and dedicated SHEQ team (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) making sure everything runs safely, sustainably, and with top-notch quality. We’re not the “SHEQ police” 🚨—we’re problem-solvers and change-drivers 💡. We work side by side with colleagues, thinking along with them and offering solutions that make their jobs safer and healthier, and our products and services of a high quality with respect for the environment. We have each other’s backs, and we genuinely enjoy the work (yes, even audits can be fun with the right team 😉). We’re looking for a Regional SHEQ Coordinator to join us in Belgium, supporting both Belgium and the Netherlands.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform and guide internal/external audits (ISO 9001, 14001, BRC, HACCP)
  • Handle waste and water declarations (Valipac & water suppliers), follow up environmental analyses, and support projects like water treatment
  • Coordinate microbiological tests, recall testing, HACCP reviews, and complaints management
  • Organize SHEQ tours, depot meetings, onboarding sessions, and make sure incidents and near misses are properly followed up
  • Commision new devices and machines and conduct risk analysis
  • Question colleague’s well-being
  • Help us roll out our new SHEQ software and drive smarter, more efficient ways of working
  • Take part in regional and group-level committees, support management reviews, and spread SHEQ awareness in a positive, solution-driven way

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (certificate of safety advisor level II or I)
  • Knowledge of ISO, BRC, HACCP standards and Belgian legislation
  • familiarity with Dutch legislation is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a bonus)
  • You’re structured and pragmatic, but also creative in finding solutions
  • Digital mindset: you enjoy using IT tools and are curious about how digitization can improve SHEQ
  • Above all: you’re motivated to be part of a young, energetic team where we learn, grow, and laugh together

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Dutch legislation is a plus
  • French is a bonus
What we offer:
  • A competitive salary package with benefits (groupinsurance, mealvouchers, hospitalization insurance, Flex Pay Plan...)
  • A company car with charging card
