We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our SHEQ Coordinator for the WP Group, reporting to the Head of Operations. This key position will coordinate all SHEQ activities across the business. WP Group (Part of Moove Europe) is a leading fuels distribution company. Our head office is based in central Southampton. Role Overview: Act as the Coordination and Administrative focal point internally for all compliance, regulatory, safety and environmental matters. Promote SHEQ and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Organisation. This includes coordinate the Environmental, Compliance and Quality Systems across Moove Fuels to achieve SHEQ Objectives, Regulatory Compliance and champion the 'Always Safe' culture across all activities. Coordinate the environmental, compliance and quality systems activities across the WP Group. Reporting to the Head of Operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and oversee effective management of core SHEQ processes, procedures, and activities across Moove Fuels. This includes monitoring performance, continuous improvement and coordinating actions to ensure conformity with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001. Includes monitoring and reporting on compliance with key relevant regulatory and compliance standards
  • Promote SHEQ in the administrative workplace (Grosvenor House). Including, the coordination of Supplier Platforms, their validation and reporting on their Performance
  • Administrate the SHEQ meetings necessary for the implementation of effective Management Systems and compile regular reports. This includes supporting the preparation of presentations to Moove Fuels Management and other Moove Europe committees of relevance to ESG
  • Lead effective document control and coordination of Management Systems that support SHEQ through effective administrative control of all Policies, Procedures Processes, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and CoSHH documents
  • Coordinate internal ESG audit processes and monitor Moove Fuels business to ensure all legislative and project requirements are met. This includes, Waste, Interested Parties, plus, Impacts and Aspects
  • Be the Moove Fuels focal point for initial notification and coord with the HSE, Lloyds Register, external agencies and auditors, including AE
  • Support the planning and coordination of 3rd party audits across Moove Fuels. Coordinate the development and deployment of a program of internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant ISO standards
  • Coordinate Quality across Moove Fuels and support the development, implementation and coordination of Continuous Improvement. This includes supporting the establishment of defined annual Quality Objectives across Moove Fuels and Coordinate teams to achieve Quality Objectives

Requirements:

  • 1 year plus experience in a SHEQ based position having worked with the processes and procedures associated with ISO 9001 and similar ISO systems (ISO14001 and ISO 18001)
  • Previous experience with health and safety compliance
  • Strong general IT capability (Excel, Word, reporting experience)
  • Possess a valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Articulate with excellent communication and presentation skill
  • A mindset for innovative ideas with a determination and leadership skill to promote, then implement, Continuous Improvements across a busy operational environment
  • Motivated to succeed and a proactive self-starter
  • Positive attitude and finds solutions where others see problems

Nice to have:

  • Preferably experience with auditing and reporting
  • Knowledge of fuel distribution or associated fuel industry would be beneficial (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of ISO compliance and auditing requirements (9000, 14001 etc.)
  • Auditors Qualification for and have experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of SHEQ in a Dangerous Goods Environment (ideal but not essential)
