Randstad is currently seeking an analytical and passionate Sheetfed Offset Press Operator to join a state-of-the-art print production facility in Kirkland. Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the complete setup, calibration, and operation of the Heidelberg XL 106 (40") and/or the 6-color Man Roland (56") press
  • Interpret technical production orders, install plates and cylinders, and execute precise make-ready adjustments to ensure absolute registration
  • Maintain stringent color metrics by adjusting ink fountain levels, monitoring viscosity, and validating density targets
  • Continuously monitor high-speed production runs utilizing computerized control consoles to proactively identify and mitigate printing anomalies or defects
  • Execute routine and scheduled preventative maintenance protocols to maximize machinery longevity and operational uptime
  • Partner closely with press assistants and production planners to optimize throughput and meet rigorous delivery timelines

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of verified experience operating large-format offset presses (40" or larger)
  • Advanced command of computerized press consoles and specialized diagnostic capabilities for color and registration tracking
  • High manual dexterity for micro-mechanical adjustments and exceptional color perception (a formal color vision assessment may be required)
  • Strong organizational aptitude to manage competing priorities alongside a track record of proactive communication with team members
