Job Responsibility

Read and interpreting drawings
General fabrication, insulation, assembly and installation of sheet metal product
stainless steel and aluminum welding
Operating computer controlled machines and fabricating machines, and monitoring the machine and the process
Install assemblies such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ducts, inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces

Requirements

A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145
Proven work history in an aviation maintenance environment
Excellent SMW hand skills

Job Responsibility

Perform sheet metal work activities on fabricated parts including assembly fixtures, drilling, deburring, filling insets and general SMW activities
