We are seeking a full-time Sheet Metal Worker to join our dedicated Capability Development Team here in Doncaster. This is a permanent post and will involve manufacturing detailed parts and assemblies within a production facility, working to fine tolerances.
Job Responsibility:
Manufacture and assemble aircraft sheet metal components and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out forming, bending, drilling, countersinking, deburring and riveting of metallic and non-metallic components
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, work instructions and technical documentation
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Part 21 Subpart G procedures and company quality requirements
Maintain accurate production and inspection records
Work closely with the design team to ensure compliance and efficiency
Follow all Health, Safety and SMS (Safety Management System) requirements within the facility
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker in an aerospace engineering environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and aerospace specifications
Experience with aircraft structures, brackets, panels, racking or similar fabricated assemblies
Knowledge of aerospace fasteners, riveting techniques and sheet metal forming
Experience working within regulated aerospace quality systems (e.g., AS9100 or Part 21) is desirable
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
