Develop, implement, and maintain the Project SHE Plan in line with statutory, client, and company requirements
Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments / HIRA / JSA for all activities
Ensure implementation of safe systems of work, method statements, and permit-to-work systems
Monitor compliance with PPE usage, safe work practices, and site safety rules
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
prepare root cause analysis and corrective action plans
Maintain accident statistics and safety performance indicators (TRIR, LTIFR, etc.)
Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans, including mock drills
Ensure compliance with applicable national and local SHE legislation (Factories Act, BOCW Act, OSHA, Environmental Acts, etc.)
Liaise with government authorities, statutory bodies, and auditors
Support internal, external, and client SHE audits and inspections
Ensure timely closure of audit findings and non-conformances
Develop and conduct SHE induction training for employees, contractors, and visitors
Organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and behavioral safety programs
Assess competency and certification requirements for high-risk activities (working at height, lifting, confined space, etc.)
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of work experience in full-fledged SHE department of any Public Sector/Leading Private Sector/MNC/with prior approval of the Engineer on a case-to-case basis
At least 2 years of experience in railways, metro, bullet train projects
Any Science Graduate with Govt. recognized full time regular Diploma in Safety
