We are looking for a SharePoint SME to help improve how to use SharePoint in their day-to-day usage. This Contract position combines platform knowledge, user guidance, and process improvement, with a strong emphasis on helping attorneys and legal staff work more efficiently and confidently. The role partners closely with end users to strengthen adoption, refine collaboration practices, and translate business needs into practical SharePoint solutions.
Job Responsibility
Advise attorneys and legal support teams on effective ways to use SharePoint for document collaboration, information management, and matter-related activities
Deliver user coaching and training sessions that build confidence in SharePoint tools, features, and recommended usage practices
Translate user needs into workable platform solutions by connecting business goals with SharePoint configuration and workflow capabilities
Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and cross-team collaboration
Support adoption initiatives by answering user questions, reinforcing best practices, and promoting stronger use of SharePoint across the organization
Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for workflow enhancement and functional customization within the SharePoint environment
Serve as a client-facing resource who can explain platform functionality clearly to non-technical legal audiences
Assist with ongoing optimization efforts by monitoring usage patterns and highlighting areas for process and solution refinement
Requirements
Demonstrated experience working with SharePoint in Online, On-Prem, or hybrid environments
Solid understanding of workflow design, document management, and case or matter management concepts
Background in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing position requiring regular end-user interaction
Ability to communicate technical and functional concepts clearly to attorneys, legal staff, and other non-technical users
Experience supporting SharePoint-based solutions, including features, workflows, and customization options
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements
Familiarity with user training, enablement, or platform adoption efforts in a structured environment
