Job Description:

This position will be primarily responsible for providing SharePoint/Power Platform development as well supporting administration, and maintenance of the organization's SharePoint environment, ensuring that the environment is running optimally and securely. This includes managing user accounts and permissions, creating and managing web pages, and working with other IC2&IS Division team members and IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues. The SharePoint/Power Platform Developer must also be able to develop, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions, such as applications, forms, and workflows. In addition, the SharePoint/Power Platform Developer must be able to develop and maintain training materials and provide end-user training and support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop SPO solutions, workflows, forms, and custom applications
  • Configure document libraries, lists, permissions, and metadata structures
  • Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
  • Implement governance, security, and compliance best practices within SPO
  • Provide Tier I–III IT services, such as troubleshooting, system administration, and end-user support
  • Support Office 365 applications, collaboration tools, and Division’s enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Assist Government Project Lead (GPL) with system monitoring, updates to ensure security and performance
  • Implement ITIL-based service management processes
  • Maintain, Update and Integrate future SPO items with MS Teams, Power BI, and external applications
  • Assist with Migrating legacy data and applications into SharePoint Online
  • Develop dashboards and reporting solutions to support decision-making

Requirements:

  • SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Teams integration
  • Office 365 administration and Azure Active Directory
  • IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL
  • System administration, troubleshooting, and user support
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and management of SharePoint environments
  • Working knowledge with Active Directory, SQL Server administration, and Microsoft 365 integration
  • Experience as part of a team to successfully plan and execute SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and large-scale implementation projects
  • Experience as part of a team to implement SharePoint security best practices, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks
  • Working knowledge configuring and maintaining SharePoint service applications
