We’re looking for a proactive, detail‑driven SharePoint Administrator to take ownership of our SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration services. Job Responsibility:
Run and optimise our SharePoint Online environment — from site provisioning to lifecycle management
Shape information architecture: hub sites, navigation, metadata, content types, retention, and search
Manage permissions and access controls across SharePoint, M365 groups, and Azure AD
Enforce governance standards and ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements
Provide expert 2nd/3rd line support, resolving issues around permissions, sync, search, and integrations
Lead root cause analysis, maintain documentation, and strengthen operational processes
Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams on audits, evidence, and secure configuration
Drive service improvements, automation, and controlled rollouts of new features
Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on SharePoint best practice and site design
Requirements:
Strong hands‑on experience administering SharePoint Online in a medium‑to‑large organisation
Solid understanding of M365 access models, governance, and information architecture
Confident troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to incident/problem/change management
Experience working in regulated environments (banking/insurance/public sector ideal)
Clear communication skills and the ability to guide non‑technical users
A mindset focused on continuous improvement, automation, and reducing operational risk
MS‑102, SC‑900, SC‑300, SC‑400, PL‑900, AZ‑900, ITIL 4 Foundation — or equivalent real‑world experience
Someone who is analytical, organised, collaborative, and comfortable owning a critical service that the entire Bank relies on
