Job Description:

The Shared Services Accounts Receivable Analyst II (SS ARAII) is responsible for the proper handling of accounts receivable for secondary insurance balances across Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross, Workers Comp, Auto and other non-Medicare payers to support the Business Services Office functions. This position exhibits knowledge across financial classes to work more difficult secondary account follow up and is responsible for providing centralized claim denial routing and resolution. This role will utilize various internal programs such as Oracle, SharePoint, and the Patient Accounting System. This position assists with coverage of the front desk at the Encompass Health Business Services Office, adhering to established security protocols and procedures. The Shared Services ARAII assists with training support and/or shadowing of newer team members. Additionally, this role may assist in AR special projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School degree or GED
  • Preferred 1-2 years of previous business office experience and/or 3 months or more of Encompass Health Corporation BSO experience and/or related background preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel is required
  • Onsite requirement 5 times per week
