Job Description:

The Collections Shared Services Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing outsourced collections activities delivered by third-party vendors. This role focuses on monitoring vendor performance, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, driving continuous improvement, and providing data-driven insights to enhance cash collection outcomes and reduce risk.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage relationships with external collections agencies and vendors
  • Monitor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual targets
  • Analyse collections data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead regular performance reviews and governance meetings
  • Challenge and improve vendor strategies to drive better outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Resolve escalated or complex cases in collaboration with partners
  • Produce clear, insightful reporting for internal stakeholders
  • Support onboarding of new vendors and continuous process improvement

Requirements:

  • Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or vendor/outsourcing management
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence working with data and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence and challenge external partners constructively
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Strong Excel skills (experience with Power BI/Tableau is a plus)
