Job Description

Nonotuck is seeking well-balanced caregivers to share their home and life with a person with disabilities. The caregiver(s) helps the person with their daily activities, health, wellness, encourages community participation, and promotes a safe and meaningful lifestyle. Beyond providing care, the shared living provider will develop a meaningful relationship with the person they are sharing their home with. She/he/they will be a roommate and a friend, spending time together, sharing activities, and enjoying a lively and engaged life.

Requirements

  • Must be found suitable through a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and National Fingerprint check
  • Live in a single family home or apartment with an extra bedroom or be willing to move
  • No previous experience necessary
