Shared Living Caregiver

Nonotuck Resource Associates is looking for an active, kind, patient, and well-balanced live-in caregiver in Franklin/Hampshire County to share a home and life with an adult with a disability in a state-funded model of care known as Shared Living. Nonotuck is seeking a couple, family or single person with an involved social & support network who is interested moving into a young man’s home and sharing their lives together. The ideal candidate would be adventurous, have a love of outdoor activities including farming, hiking & landscaping, a laid-back personality that promotes a calming atmosphere and commitment to their own stress management and wellness. Beyond providing care, the shared living caregiver will develop a meaningful relationship with this young man and his family. She/he will be a roommate and a friend, spending time together, sharing activities, and enjoying a lively and engaged life. We consider this to be a long-term commitment.
