Job Description:

My name is Tracy and I live with my partner Dave. We have 3 grown up daughters, with families of their own and 5 grandchildren who we see as often as we can. I am an experienced carer who has worked within the care industry for many years and am now offering care within my home. I am a kind, friendly person who enjoys helping people get the most out of life by giving them the confidence to do things and be as independent as they can, whilst having the support they need.

Job Responsibility:

Providing care within own home
Offering short breaks and respite
Supporting people to get the most out of life
Giving confidence to do things and be as independent as possible
Providing 1-1 support to learn new life skills or gain a better quality of life
Helping people maintain independence and learn skills in a friendly, supportive environment

Requirements:

Experience as a carer
Experience working in nursing and residential homes, care in the community, or as a self-employed carer/housekeeper
Person-centred approach
Experience supporting individuals with varying needs
Passion for encouraging independence
Kind and friendly personality
Easy-going nature
Willingness to try/learn new things
