A role within the Global Employer Services group, helping companies and individuals moving countries and assisting with tax implications. Working with a broad client base from start-ups to multinationals, the team assists with some of the biggest decisions of their lives, focusing on reward and share schemes services.

Job Responsibility

  • Deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets to ensure the continued growth of the business
  • Provide assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group
  • Provide reward and share schemes services for a wide range of clients
  • Assist Directors & Partners in providing Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients

Requirements

  • Ability to advise on the tax treatment of share options and other forms of employee share ownership
  • An in depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and knowledge of reward tax and related areas such as employment, NIC and capital gains tax etc
  • Expertise on split interest, freezer and nil paid arrangements
  • Experience in the preparation of share valuations and liaison with HMRC
  • Staff management and mentoring experience
  • Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives
  • Experience of dealing direct with clients including agreement of fees
  • Educated to degree level (LLB preferred), and/or CTA and/or ATT/ACA qualified or equivalent
