Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SFMC Marketing Automation Specialist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This long-term contract position requires expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong background in marketing automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing automated campaigns, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring seamless integration across marketing platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the migration and implementation of a new marketing automation platform, ensuring data and functionality transfer smoothly
  • Collaborate with sales and other teams to collect requirements and design effective marketing automation solutions
  • Monitor and resolve database issues, including automated data synchronization and data extensions
  • Organize and maintain lists, assets, and workflows within the marketing automation platform
  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other tools to maintain data consistency and streamline workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors to optimize platform performance
  • Develop and execute automated campaigns, customer journeys, and lead scoring strategies within the marketing automation system
  • Design, test, and deploy dashboards, interfaces, and integrations in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Build and manage analytics dashboards to track marketing performance and campaign success
  • Train marketing teams on platform usage and best practices to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator with proven implementation and integration success
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and its integration capabilities with various marketing technologies
  • Proficiency in managing complex data environments and maintaining data accuracy across platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Exceptional communication abilities to collaborate with stakeholders effectively
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other MarTech tools such as Demandbase, On24, and Qualtrics
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Aha or Confluence
