TensionStructures.com, a division of Eide Industries, Inc., is an award-winning manufacturer of commercial awnings & canopies, hotel pool cabanas, transport trailer canopy systems, and industrial canvas products. We are searching for experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Operators and Pattern Makers to join our team and play a crucial role in creating beautiful fabric shade structures and covers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines on a daily basis to fabricate a variety of outdoor shading products
  • Cut, sew and assemble a variety of industrial fabrics, vinyls, and hardware materials
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Closely monitor waste factors and keep waste to a minimum
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial sewing machines (in the awning and canopy industry, a plus)
  • Proficient in using various types of sewing machines and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • A strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
