Minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial sewing machines (in the awning and canopy industry, a plus)
Proficient in using various types of sewing machines and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
A strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Responsibility

Operate industrial sewing machines on a daily basis to fabricate a variety of outdoor shading products
Cut, sew and assemble a variety of industrial fabrics, vinyls, and hardware materials
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
Closely monitor waste factors and keep waste to a minimum
Communicate effectively with Supervisors and team members to ensure production goals are met
