Proven experience operating sewing machines (essential)
Experience working in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)

Job Responsibility

Repairing garments in line with quality standards and production targets
Replacing zips, press studs and buckles
Repairing seams, tears, and general wear and damage
Patching holes and reinforcing garments where required
Shortening garment arms and legs where necessary
Managing stock levels of sewing materials and equipment
Supporting with general ad hoc tasks as required

Job Responsibility

Receive soft shades from Tunnel Preparation for processing
Read and interpret work tickets for special instructions, including shade type and custom requirements
Check the straightness and alignment of each soft shade before beginning sewing
Operate the Pfaff Tunnel Machine to sew soft shades according to specifications
Use tape measures and tools to ensure accuracy in measurements and placement
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety and housekeeping protocols
Report any equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly
Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs and workflow
