Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain sewerage network to meet quality and customer service standards
  • Work with customers to resolve reactive incidents including blockages, pollution and flooding
  • Accurately collate and submit feedback information from site
  • Responsible for own health and safety as well as that of team, contractors, customers and the general public
  • Involved in routine maintenance as well as reactive work
  • Travel across the West of the region, predominantly in West Somerset, Sedgemoor and North Somerset area
  • Participate in stand-by arrangements on a rota basis, working one week in four covering 365 days a year

Requirements:

  • Experience using single man jetting unit and CCTV equipment
  • QCF in sewerage operations or City & Guilds equivalent, or willingness to undertake certification
  • Confined space trained and Streetworks certification for working on the highway would be an advantage
  • Basic IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office
  • Valid driving licence
  • Ability to work in pressurised environments, 45 hours per week
  • Customer focused and a team player

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and exceeding performance targets

Confined space trained and Streetworks certification for working on the highway
