Job Responsibility

  • Part of a team working to maintain sewerage network to meet quality and customer service standards
  • working with customers to resolve reactive incidents including blockages, pollution and flooding
  • accurately collating and submitting feedback information from site
  • responsible for own health and safety as well as that of team and any contractors, customers and the general public
  • involved in routine maintenance as well as reactive work
  • paid stand-by arrangements on a rota basis, working one week in four covering 365 days a year

  • experience using single man jetting unit and CCTV equipment
  • QCF in sewerage operations or City & Guilds equivalent, or willingness to undertake certification

  • basic IT knowledge including Microsoft Office
  • hold a valid driving licence
  • ability to work in pressurised environments
  • 45 hours per week
