Job Description:

For a contractor specialized in road construction, sewerage works, demolition, asbestos removal, earthworks, and soil remediation, we are recruiting a Sewer Construction Worker. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. The worker will assist in digging trenches, laying pipes, and sealing them according to technical plans. The job is performed in a small team, alongside a crane operator and another sewer worker. Work starts at 7:30 AM in winter and 7:00 AM in summer.

Job Responsibility:

Digging trenches and sealing them upon completion
Laying underground pipe systems according to plans
Reading and following sewer drawings and street layouts
Ensuring site safety and proper signaling
Collaborating closely with a small on-site team
Maintaining communication with site management

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role in construction or sewerage work
Ability to read and interpret construction and sewer plans
Familiarity with construction site safety and signalling
Valid category B driving license
Able to travel independently to Ostend (carpooling available)
Strong team spirit and motivation
