Job Description:

The Settlement Associate will provide settlement support to the operations group for assets in ongoing operations and ensure accurate processing of settlements, landowner payments, and various other activities to support the operational obligations of the company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare monthly revenue and expense accruals estimates and cash received reports for Accounting
  • Produce monthly invoices and reconcile settlement discrepancies with various ISOs and off-takers
  • Prepare various ad hoc analyses and conduct research on ISO tariffs and contracts
  • Produce various settlements data reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform settlements activities such as scheduling and transferring renewable energy credits
  • Support the development of standard business processes and optimization of existing processes
  • Support the development of tools and processes and the tracking of obligations under major contracts
  • Support Asset Operations staff in maintaining relationships with off-takers, ISOs, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with accounting regarding A/R and A/P requests
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise
  • Ability to perform duties in a collaborative working environment
  • Ability to quantitatively analyze data derived from different software platforms, present results visually and qualitatively
  • Persistence needed to follow through and achieve results
  • Ability to apply EDPR NA's visions and values
  • Statistical and analytical skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated
  • Experience with SQL Server and database structures preferred
