The ServicesTech Digital Platforms Architecture Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Job Responsibility:
Develop architecture, strategy, planning, and problem solving solutions on an enterprise level.
Interface across several channels, acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining direction for future projects.
Maintain continuous awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and acts as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative solutions.
Depending on project scope, you may be accountable for end-to-end results including such items as: budgeting, policy formulation as well as providing future state technology strategies for an effort.
Interfaces with vendors to assess their technology and to guide their product roadmap based on Citi requirements.
Provide thought leadership in subjects that are key to the business.
Impact the technology function through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements:
GenAI Expertise:We require extensive experience in GenAI, encompassing LLM Platforms (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude), AI Engineering (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector Databases), AI Governance (Model Risk Management (MRM), Responsible AI guardrails, Feature Stores), and RAG Architectures (document loaders, embeddings, retrieval pipelines).
Cloud-Native & Microservice Architectures:Proficiency in cloud-native architectures, delivering solutions using microservice patterns, and a solid understanding of HTTP and REST-based architectures will be essential.
Agile & DevOps Proficiency:A strong aptitude for Agile and DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration, test automation, frequent releases, and containerization, is expected.
Development & Operations Tooling:Experience with key development and operations tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, and Amazon Web Services is highly beneficial.
Database Knowledge:Basic knowledge of both relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB) is needed.
Extensive Experience & Accountability:We seek candidates with over 10 years of relevant experience, including operating highly visible projects with senior accountability.
Communication & Organizational Skills:The ability to consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication, along with strong management, prioritization, and the capacity to develop working relationships, is crucial.
