Job Description:

This role is responsible for leading Services strategy, execution, and market share growth within Nigeria and Ghana, collaborating closely with local Banking and Markets Business Heads and CCOs. The role focus will be cultivating robust relationships with clients, partners, regulators, and key stakeholders, ensuring the full power of our Services offering reaches covered geography.

Job Responsibility:

Lead Services strategy, execution, and market share growth within Nigeria and Ghana
Collaborate closely with local Banking and Markets Business Heads and CCOs
Cultivate robust relationships with clients, partners, regulators, and key stakeholders
Champion innovation for enhanced client experience and operational efficiency
Uphold rigorous risk and control standards
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing team
Drive business growth and expand market share in Nigeria & Ghana
Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders
Drive client revenue growth and manage profitability
Manage risk and control standards and foster culture of compliance
Lead external engagement with appropriate regulatory bodies

Requirements:

Min. 1st Degree or equivalent in any discipline plus a relevant higher degree or professional qualification
Minimum of 15 years postgraduation experience
At least 12 years in the banking industry
At least 2 years as VP/Deputy General Manager
Evidence of experience in at least three (3) major areas of banking operations
Extensive experience in financial services with proven track record of success in leading and growing a large business
Deep understanding of Services' core product areas: Payments, Liquidity Management, Trade and Working Capital, Investor Services, and Issuer Services
Exposure and track record in both CCPS (Corporate Commercial and Public Sector) and FI (Financial Institutions) segments
Strong track record in developing and nurturing client and vendor relationships
Knowledge of Nigeria and Ghana regulatory landscape
