Job Description:

The role involves acting as a technical consultant specializing in ServiceNow with a focus on the SecOps (Security Operations) module. Responsibilities include design and implementation of solutions, ensuring platform compliance, and providing guidance on best practices while collaborating with internal teams to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow SecOps, providing technical consulting and solution design
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications and user stories
Customize and configure the ServiceNow SecOps module, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence
Support integrations between ServiceNow SecOps and external security tools (e.g., SIEM, threat feeds, vulnerability scanners)
Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline and optimize security-related processes
Ensure platform compliance with security frameworks, internal governance standards, and ServiceNow best practices
Guide and support internal teams on the ServiceNow platform, with emphasis on SecOps capabilities
Keep up to date with the latest trends and updates in ServiceNow and cybersecurity, ensuring platform enhancements are aligned with evolving needs
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose scalable technical solutions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow SecOps module
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), and data modeling
Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, threat intelligence platforms, etc.
Good knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, SQL, and database structures
Familiarity with security frameworks and IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL)
Experience working in or with Infrastructure or Security Operations teams
