Job Description

This role involves working as a ServiceNow Developer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Responsibilities include development, testing, deployment, and maintenance on the ServiceNow platform. The role is onsite in Bangalore, India, focusing on next-generation network access solutions and redefining digital workspaces.

Job Responsibility

  • Understand the business and how end-users use the product
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including product managers and end-users
  • Perform requirement analysis and break down business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance through understanding of system architecture
  • Implement software functionality using programming languages and algorithms
  • Create documentation, diagrams, and videos detailing system operations
  • Test individual components through unit testing and integrate components through integration testing
  • Identify and fix bugs, ensure smooth deployments and monitor post-deployment performance
  • Resolve bugs and improve features based on user feedback
  • Coordinate with teams and stakeholders through meetings and documentation
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Stay updated on industry trends and experiment with innovative technologies
  • Identify and manage technical escalations and perform root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in application development on ServiceNow platform
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent related professional experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in SNOW modules: ITSM, SPM, CSM
  • Knowledge of CMDB Implementation
  • Expertise in Integration Hub, UI Builder, Service Portal
  • Expertise in web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Server Side Scripts (Business Rules, Script Include, UI Actions), Client Scripts, Workflows, Flows, Data Sources & Transform Maps, Database Views
  • Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
