Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications with a strong focus on ITSM, ITOM, and custom modules
  • Implement and support ServiceNow Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT) solutions as per business requirements (mandatory)
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Workflows, and Flow Designer
  • Build and enhance front-end components using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow UI frameworks
  • Manage and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption
  • Design, develop, and support integrations with external systems such as LDAP, SCCM, Azure, AWS, and third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, including secure coding, version control, code reviews, and automated testing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Configure and support HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and other ServiceNow modules as needed
  • Utilize Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Mobile Studio to improve platform efficiency and user experience
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and deployment guides
  • Provide post-implementation support, enhancements, and knowledge transfer to support teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on exposure to ITSM, ITOM, and/or custom modules
  • Mandatory: Strong experience with ServiceNow Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow UI technologies
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, table structure, and platform architecture
  • Experience in ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and migrations
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs with systems such as LDAP, SCCM, Azure, and AWS
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices, including code reviews, version control, and testing
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS are preferred
  • Experience with additional modules like HRSD, CSM, or SecOps is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, and ITIL frameworks
