ServiceNow Developer / Administrator (SIR Focus). We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Administrator with a strong background supporting Security Incident Response (SIR). This role will focus on designing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions to meet customer business needs, while collaborating with distributed teams and stakeholders in a federal environment.
Job Responsibility:
Configure and activate ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) features and SIR Workspace
Customize and integrate the Sentinel interface with SIR
Design and develop custom solutions including forms, flows, runbooks, dashboards, and reports
Administer SIR‑specific roles, privileges, patches, and add‑ins
Support development and administration across additional ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, IRM/GRC, and CMDB
Design and develop scoped applications and Service Portal components outside of SIR as needed
Contribute to platform strategy, planning, and service delivery with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
Provide ITSM‑related recommendations aligned to service management policies, guidelines, and processes
Work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams and clients
Provide additional support based on subject matter expertise and project priorities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience
ServiceNow Administrator Certification
Minimum 6 years of overall IT experience
4+ years of hands‑on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM and SIR
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, and XML
Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
Working knowledge of ITIL principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset
Must be eligible to acquire and maintain a Public Trust suitability
Nice to have:
Experience with IRM/GRC architecture, including CAM and Risk Workspaces
ITIL Foundation Certification
ServiceNow Developer Certifications
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
