We are looking for a ServiceNow Business Analyst to support business and technology teams in Columbus, Ohio by turning operational needs into practical platform solutions. In this role, you will assess current processes, define clear requirements, and help shape efficient ServiceNow capabilities that improve daily workflows. The position is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on platform knowledge and enjoys working closely with stakeholders in an Agile environment.
Job Responsibility
Engage with business partners and project teams to capture needs, clarify objectives, and produce well-structured functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow work
Review existing workflows and operating procedures to uncover opportunities for process improvement, automation, and a better end-user experience through the platform
Convert business goals into detailed specifications and work closely with developers and administrators to deliver effective, scalable solutions
Support the configuration of ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and integrations with an emphasis on best practices and sustainable design
Assess data needs related to reporting, integrations, implementations, and migration activities to help ensure reliable solution delivery
Create and update process documents, user instructions, and training resources while assisting end users with adoption and knowledge transfer
Monitor new platform features and module capabilities, recommending enhancements that increase efficiency and business value
Contribute to Agile delivery efforts by partnering with cross-functional teams, participating in planning activities, and helping drive successful project execution
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in business analysis with significant exposure to the ServiceNow platform
Practical background supporting ServiceNow implementations, platform enhancements, or ongoing administration
Working knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including Strategic Portfolio Management, with additional module experience considered beneficial
Understanding of ServiceNow delivery approaches, platform standards, and configuration best practices
Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to turn business needs into clear functional solutions
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Experience working in Agile Scrum or other iterative software delivery environments
Ability to balance multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced setting
