ServiceNow Business Analyst with a leading banking client (consulting through FinXL) FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a 6+ months contract in Sydney.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate workshops with HR SMEs to document processes and design workflows
Translate business needs into detailed User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders managing OOB functionality
Coordinate the UAT phase including script creation and defect triaging
Assist the PeopleSoft team with data mapping and validation for integrations
Support change management by creating training materials and reference guides
Manage expectations regarding platform customisations versus standard features
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on ServiceNow projects
Strong functional knowledge of the ServiceNow HRSD module and its components
Proven experience in Agile environments using Jira or Azure DevOps for backlogs
Deep understanding of the SDLC and translating requirements for offshore teams
Background in HR Operations including Hire-to-Retire and Onboarding lifecycles
Exceptional written communication skills for creating clear technical documentation
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder matrices and manage business requests
