Job Description

Trane Service and Rental Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling Trane rental solutions to potential clients. The aim of the role is to generate new business opportunities, build trusting customer relationships, achieve sales targets and maximize account share by delivering technical solutions to the customers based on their needs for Service & Trane rental offer.

Job Responsibility

  • Achieve assigned sales and customer development quota through focus on customer acquisition and development on rental services
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth
  • Identify and target potential customers in various industries requiring service and rental solutions
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, regularly updating the TSC (Trane Service Cloud) and RMT (Rental Management Tool), system with accurate and up-to-date information including customer database, opportunity pipeline, etc
  • Develop the best total solution to the customer, tailored to the current needs of the client, based on the existing equipment service and/or rental offer
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate site & customer needs, ensuring accurate and efficient Service & Trane rental solutions are proposed
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them select the most suitable solutions based on their specific requirements
  • Encourage customer growth and loyalty through continuous support and customer assistance, build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact
  • Prepare offers for customers based on the company's price lists and procedures (independently and in cooperation with support departments)
  • Oversee and drive the information flow between subcontractors & logistics of rental units
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with allocated coordinator, sales engineers from other channels, and service technicians. Manage the leads received from other departments
  • Attend trainings & webinars, keep updated on product and technology changes and implement information in solutions & quotation

Requirements

  • Technical University degree
  • Preferable experience in industrial sectors
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably from HVAC and/or refrigeration industry
  • Sales experience
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, along with high integrity and capacity to deal with changing priorities
  • Well-organized and able to handle several different projects and task simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Communicative level of English
  • Active driving license
