ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Service Test Engineer in Argentina. Our customer is among the top-5 health insurance companies in the US. The company serves more than 15 million members across five states and employs more than 20,000 people. The customer is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals via developing and supporting the IT tools. Numerous applications and APIs, both for internal and external use. We are looking for a Service Test Engineer to support the Security, IAM, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Platform service organizations by providing functional and integration testing of the services we build. These services support authentication, authorization, directory services, network infrastructure, platform provisioning, cloud access, and other internal enterprise capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strong capability in API validation and automated test development
  • Ability to test REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of HTTP verbs, headers, status codes, payloads, and error models
  • Ability to design positive, negative, edge-case, and contract-based tests
  • Ability to validate backward compatibility during service changes
  • Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, Bash, etc.) to automate regression and integration tests
  • Ability to integrate automated suites with CI triggers
  • Experience building reusable automation assets that scale across multiple services
  • Understanding of OAuth2/OIDC flows
  • Understanding of JWT structure (issuer, audience, expiration, scopes, claims)
  • Token lifecycle workflows: issue, refresh, expire, revoke
  • Role-based and scope-based access models, least privilege, PAM elevation/de-elevation
  • Secure API behaviors (401 vs. 403, correct error handling, no sensitive information leakage)
  • Ability to design authN/authZ test cases, including malformed/missing/expired tokens and insufficient scopes
  • Experience working on service or platform teams (not Scrum feature teams)
  • Ability to execute regression suites during change windows
  • Experience with maintenance windows, deployment testing, and service readiness validation
  • Ability to validate documentation and consumer onboarding steps
  • Ability to reproduce incidents, validate hotfixes, and support root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with ticket-based workflows (change requests, incident tickets, enhancement requests)
