We are looking for a Service Technician based in the Birmingham area, willing to join the Customer Service Operations team at E80 Group, which is responsible for all after-sales activities. The role primarily involves maintaining, repairing, modifying, upgrading, and performing preventive maintenance on various machines installed at our clients’ sites. This position primarily requires travel to customer sites across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, with availability to travel within Europe and occasionally outside Europe.
Job Responsibility:
Keep all E80 system components running smoothly through regular inspections and maintenance, whether scheduled or due to breakdowns
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks
Perform corrective maintenance or troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on machines
Calibrate or configure individual machines or devices
Handle partial or complete upgrades or modifications on outdated systems
Prepare reports and spare parts lists after completing work
Monitor the E80 system's performance, reporting any problems or issues to the appropriate managers
Requirements:
Technical Qualification in electromechanical field or industrial automation
4–5+ years of prior experience as an electrical, electromechanical, or service technician in automation or manufacturing environments
Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings
Experience, even if limited, with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, and/or FANUC control systems would be a bonus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and independently
Flexibility, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure
Advanced or native-level spoken and written English
basic spoken and written Italian will be considered a plus
Ability to perform electromechanical work, including at heights and in confined spaces (after completing specific training)
Permanent rights to work in UK, with no restriction
Valid driver’s license and car owner
Nice to have:

Experience, even if limited, with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, and/or FANUC control systems
