Job Description:

The role of Service Technician is a new position within a new department at Dexory. You will undergo comprehensive training in the electro-mechanical assembly of Dexory’s products, spending an allocated period within the Production team (3-6 months*). Additionally, you will engage in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and testing, with integration in the Special Operations team for a duration of 3 months*. During the training you must display excellent standards of workmanship and professionalism on site. Upon successful completion of this training you will go on to support the service department's operational capability across the globe on client sites.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform on-site and off-site service and repairs for Dexory robots and equipment
  • Develop, implement and action work instructions for service and repair tasks
  • Develop and implement service plans in line with Engineering recommendations
  • Maintain product traceability records
  • Maintain product currency
  • Ensure team compliance with quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure team compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Fulfil additional duties, whether functional or administrative, as assigned by management in a fair and reasonable manner

Requirements:

  • In excess of five years experience in electromechanical assembly and service in a precision industry (including Motorsport, Aerospace, Railway, Automotive etc)
  • Ability for frequent travel onsite and abroad to client sites (have a passport without restrictions)
  • Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team, and to lead a team through tough challenges
  • Driven to succeed in dynamic growing organisation
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and location
  • Full Clean UK driving license

Nice to have:

  • Business software tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack and G-Suite
  • Manufacturing software such as manufacturing execution systems
  • Linux operating system experience
  • Root cause analysis methodologies
