Job Description:

Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations. Currently, we are seeking a qualified Window & Door Service Technician to work collaboratively with our Window Sales division in Colorado. Qualified applicants should live in the commutable Denver, Colorado area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Diagnose and perform field repairs and provide excellent service levels
  • This is a physical job that requires lifting, pushing/pulling, and climbing on ladders
  • Perform AAMA-certified window and door installations
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Company will provide a service van, tools, and training
  • Meet or exceed customer's expectations
  • Overnight travel may be required

Requirements:

  • Experience in window/door service preferred
  • We seek reliable, self-motivated individuals with good communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV record is required
  • All applicants must be at least age 18

  • Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently
  • Weekly travel with some overnight and overtime is a requirement in this position, along with flexible working hours
  • Performing service work on various products
  • Accurately inspect JELD-WEN window and door products to find root cause of the service issue
