Join our team at SKIDATA as a Field Engineer/Service Technician, where you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced access control and parking systems. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to key projects that ensure the smooth operation of SKIDATA's systems in our Parking Solution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install and maintain SKIDATA's access control and parking management systems and ensure optimal performance in Brussels and the surrounding area
  • Act as the face of SKIDATA, maintain strong relationships with clients, and ensure they are satisfied with our products and services
  • Diagnose and resolve issues on-site to minimize disruption to our clients' operations
  • Work independently on projects, with flexibility in prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing client needs
  • Be available for on-call duties (every 5 weeks) to keep the systems operational outside regular working hours, for additional compensation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
  • Eager to learn and want to grow in a customer-oriented, practical engineering role
  • Interested in IT and enjoy working with technology
  • Experience with updates or patching (software updates)
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy working independently, but are also a team player
  • Fluent Dutch and can manage in French and English
  • Flexible, proactive, and enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic field service position
