We are seeking a reliable, hardworking skilled labourer to join our team for a temporary placement. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced Lead Technician assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential doors across Winnipeg. This is a physical, hands-on role perfect for someone with a solid work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience in the construction or installation industry.
Job Responsibility
Assist the Lead Technician with installing and servicing doors, docks, and related hardware
Safely operate a variety of hand and/or power tools
Load, unload, and move heavy materials and equipment on-site
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on job sites
Requirements
Previous experience as a skilled labourer, construction helper, or door installer is highly preferred
Proficient and safe operation of standard hand and power tools
Ability to handle frequent heavy lifting (up to 50lbs or more) and work comfortably on ladders
Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn the trade
Must be able to commute to our shop/dispatch location in Winnipeg

$18-$20 per hour, based on your experience and certifications
