We are seeking a reliable, hardworking skilled labourer to join our team for a temporary placement. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced Lead Technician assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential doors across Winnipeg. This is a physical, hands-on role perfect for someone with a solid work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience in the construction or installation industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Lead Technician with installing and servicing doors, docks, and related hardware
  • Safely operate a variety of hand and/or power tools
  • Load, unload, and move heavy materials and equipment on-site
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on job sites

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a skilled labourer, construction helper, or door installer is highly preferred
  • Proficient and safe operation of standard hand and power tools
  • Ability to handle frequent heavy lifting (up to 50lbs or more) and work comfortably on ladders
  • Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn the trade
  • Must be able to commute to our shop/dispatch location in Winnipeg
