Reporting into the Service Planning / Service Coordination team, you will play a vital role in supporting service delivery, client communication and day-to-day administrative coordination. Working within a super friendly, supportive local team of 6, you will closely support the Service Coordinator(s) and Service Manager, while also being part of a massively successful wider organisation.
Job Responsibility:
Acting as a first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and email enquiries from clients and third parties
Providing administrative and coordination support to the Service Planning / Service Coordination team
Responding to client requests and providing initial information regarding service timelines
Supporting the scheduling and coordination of field-based service teams
Confirming appointments and liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitoring office supplies and placing stationery orders as required
Acting as a point of contact for office maintenance and facilities-related queries
Working closely with other administrative teams across the business to maximise efficiency and resource use
Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance with internal processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative or service support role
Confidence communicating with clients via telephone and email
A calm, solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organisation and record keeping
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn bespoke systems
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
A collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
Previous experience within an engineering, construction, logistics or operational environment
