To provide essential support to the Field Line Manager, leading a diverse team of engineers, ensuring the seamless delivery of all engineering services within KPI guidelines. Job Responsibility:
Create an environment where engineers are motivated to achieve their best
Work closely with the Field Line Manager to develop and implement strategies that promote continuous improvement
Provide mentorship and training to team members
Assist in the induction of new team members
Actively participate in engineering tasks
Offer over-the-phone technical assistance to team members
Regularly conduct health and safety audits
Develop and enforce action plans to address any safety concerns
Monitor and ensure that all engineering tasks are completed to the highest standards
Serve as the primary communication link between field operations and the office
Facilitate feedback from the field to management
Plan and schedule work assignments
Requirements:
Experience with Gent and Notifier systems
Proven experience in field electrical and supervisory/management
Considerable demonstrable Fire Systems industry experience
Industry specific qualifications (FIA or equivalent)
You must be fully qualified, with a certificate in IOSH or SSSTS (Health and Safety)
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Sound knowledge of contract terms and pricing
People management skills
Hold a full driving licence
Ability to create and build strong relationships, with a professional approach
