Job Description:

Service Segment Manager role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise focusing on managing service business success, defining strategic direction, building partnerships, and leading key initiatives in a hybrid IT services environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the overall business success of a large and diverse set of service products/solutions
  • Define strategic direction and plans for the service business, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions, cost reductions, and incremental growth initiatives
  • Manage and track product/service business metrics (attach, penetration, revenue, TCE)
  • deliver recovery or action plans for exceptions
  • Build and foster strong partnerships with Product Business Groups, Alliance partners, Services teams, Regional Business Development Managers, Sales, Solution Partners, and Delivery functions
  • Lead key initiatives that reshape portfolio, selling motions, competitive advantages, and business models
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and barrier removal to enable direct reports to achieve objectives
  • Create a high-performance, growth-oriented, diverse, and rewarding work environment
  • Mentor individual contributors and Manager I level leaders
  • contribute to talent development programs (rotational, re-skilling, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 12+ years demonstrating mastery in Service Business Management
  • First-level and advanced university degree (MBA or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven management background leading senior individual contributors and managers
  • Excellent understanding of competitive market dynamics, business models, strategies, and processes
  • Organizational design and planning
  • Financial expertise and strategic planning methods
  • Problem-solving and productivity management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to influence at cross-functional and executive levels
