Job Description

As Head of Global Service Sales for Heat Exchanger Services within our Sales & Service Organization, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the service sales strategy for the Hygienic Fluid Handling & Heat Transfer Technologies Business Unit. In this role, you will shape the direction of our global service organization with a huge potential growth, directly influencing growth, customer loyalty, and after-sales innovation. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders worldwide to elevate our service portfolio, set industry benchmarks, and deliver outstanding customer value.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead global service sales for our service offerings by enabling and partnering with service managers in our sales companies
  • Develop and implement a service growth strategy that strengthens relationships with partners and customers
  • Analyze and develop new business opportunities for current and new service sales and upgrade packages
  • Drive profitable growth of after-sales (services and spare parts) through marketing, sales activities, and the development of new service products
  • Be part of the Sales & Service management team in the business unit, driving the service transformation agenda across Alfa Laval through strategic initiatives and service sales results
  • Benchmark competitors and identify opportunities to enhance our competitive advantages
  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Product & Portfolio Management to coordinate and drive after-sales activities and revenue streams
  • Take an active role in our growth strategy by maturing and expanding our services business globally, and incentivizing service sales in our channel network

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with heat exchangers technology, applications, and industry knowledge
  • At least 5 years’ responsibility for a service business area
  • Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field
  • Proven management experience and a strategic, execution-focused mindset
  • Demonstrated B2B track record in developing and executing business plans to grow service sales of aftermarket parts and services, especially with Heat Exchangers and hygienic applications
  • Experience working in global matrix organizations, with the ability to navigate complex environments and collaborate across functions and regions
  • Proficiency in launching new service offerings, scaling mature products, and understanding go-to-market strategies, product management, and technology in a service business
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, using insights and trends to drive progress
