Job Description

The Service Provider Network Engineer is a critical strategic advisor and technical specialist that engages with customers to accelerate their adoption of our clients products & solutions that transform their business.

Job Responsibility

  • Demonstrate thought leadership in solving customer problems
  • Be a technical leader for projects from requirement capture to production deployment
  • Lead a delivery team and maintain relationships with our customers
  • Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems and service assurance for Cisco technologies
  • Able to support pre-sales activities and translate business requirements into solution designs

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience of working with Service Provider R&S protocols and technology
  • 10+ years of project implementation and delivery experiences in Service Provider networking and solutions in support of IP based networks
  • 10+ years of design documentation and project design leadership
  • Experience of working with Cisco routers and switches, IOS and IOS-XR
  • Experience of working with Cisco ASR9K and NCS platforms
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Demonstrated abilities to juggle simultaneous work tasks ranging from system/solution integration to complex technical issues dealing with protocols, network devices and other technical areas
  • Strong background in Service Provider network architecture
  • Exceptional communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills
  • Knowledge of Segment Routing, Segment Routing v6, IPv6, MPLS, BNG

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of key frameworks, platforms, technologies and protocols for Software Orchestration and Automation of Networks (SDN)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, e.g. Python, Perl
  • Certification on Cisco technologies like CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, DEVASC
