As the Service Product Lead for Workday in ETS, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management, integration, and technical optimisation of the Workday HRIS platform. This role focuses on ensuring that Workday is seamlessly integrated with other enterprise systems, delivers reliable platform performance, and meets the technical requirements of People Experience and business operations. The SPL will collaborate closely with HRIS and ETS teams to manage platform services, monitor system health, drive integrations and provide technical support to ensure a stable and efficient ecosystem. You will actively scan the external landscape to identify emerging technologies and assess their relevance and potential value to the business needs. The Service Product Lead ensures the seamless integration of all IT service components and systems, aligning with Flight Centre Travel Group’s strategic goals. You will translate high-level business objectives into actionable roadmaps, balancing long-term aspirations with short-term deliverables. You will lead through influence across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric services.
Job Responsibility:
Platform Management & Integration - Own the technical integration of Workday with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
Service Delivery & Optimisation - Oversee platform updates, releases, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption and aligning technical changes with business needs
Product and Service Roadmap - Define and manage the IT product roadmap in line with business objectives and user feedback
Monitor the external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies
Service Ownership - Deal with problems/issues, conduct root cause analysis, manage resolutions with corrective actions and disseminate lessons learned, driving improvement
Monitor the health and performance of the Workday platform
Stakeholder Engagement - Oversee problems and issues, manages resolution, corrective actios, and the collection and dissemination of information
Governance and Compliance - Ensure all products adhere to regulatory, security and compliance requirements and maintain documentation and service catalogue entries
Budget and Financial Management - Manage budgeting and cost optimisation
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in product management
Strong technical knowledge of the Workday platform, including integration capabilities
Specific knowledge of the HCM product domain
Extensive experience within a Product /Platform Delivery environment
Strong understanding of project, portfolio, Organisational Change Management (OCM), and Agile / ITIL techniques
Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO and a Steering Committee
Travel industry knowledge preferred
Product Management Certification
ITIL Certification
A bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or related fields
Industry qualifications in the specified product domain
